Under the aegis of the district administration, SANKALP-District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) Longleng conducted an Awareness Programme on Gender sensitization, menstrual hygiene & inclusivity at Yingli College Longleng on 8^th September 2025.

Resource person, Phungla Phom, DMC DHEW Llg spoke on the importance of the aforementioned topics. She also highlighted the schemes related to women & Girl child. She encourages the participants to be an agent for women empowerment.

The session focused on understanding menstruation, proper hygiene practices, use and disposal of sanitary products and promoting confidence among adolescent girls.
