The Sub-Divisional Coordination Meeting of all Heads of Offices under Tuli Sub-Division was held on 11th September 2025 at Dobashi Court, Tuli, Mokokchung where the various developmental departments submitted reports highlighting their activities, achievements, and concerns.

According to the Rural Development Department, Tuli Block presently has twelve Panchayats. Under the MNREGA scheme, there are a total of 2,118 active job cards, generating 48,176 mandays during the financial year 2025–2026. Under the NSRLM programme, the block has achieved 80 percent saturation of targeted rural households within eight years of inception and has successfully promoted 113 Self-Help Groups, 13 Village Level Organisations, and one Block Level Federation.

The report submitted by the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer stated that three blocks are covered under PM-KISAN. The number of registered farmers stands at 964 in Chuchu Block, 792 in Chantongya Block, and 997 in Tuli Block. In addition, under the NMEO–Oil Palm scheme, more than fifty farmers covering ninety hectares of land are engaged in oil palm cultivation, where they receive financial assistance for land preparation, provision of machineries, and installation of drip irrigation facilities.

The Forest Range Office, Tuli, reported that under the Nagaland Forest Management Project, supported by JICA, a total of 90,168 saplings has been planted over 427.48 hectares at Merangkong village. Further, under the Nagar Van Yojana Scheme during 2024–2025, approximately 2,000 saplings were planted at Nagar Van Tuli College, for educational and recreational purposes.

The Medical Officer of CHC Tuli raised concerns regarding the rising incidence of dog bites, tuberculosis, and road accidents, the latter averaging around three cases per month. However, it was also noted with satisfaction that there have been no cases of malaria in the subdivision for the past five to six years.

The meeting reflected notable progress in multiple sectors of development within Tuli Sub-Division. The session emphasized the importance of inter-departmental collaboration in addressing challenges while consolidating the developmental gains achieved so far.
