Yingli College, Longleng, Department of Sociology, conducted a one-day extension service in Eastern Blind Care Home, Dungkhao Village, Longleng on 25 September 2025.

The objective of conducting social work in an Eastern blind care home and providing extensive services is to enhance the quality of life and ensure the social integration of visually impaired individuals through compassionate and sustainable services.  Fifty-five Sociology Major Students from 1st Semester, 3rd Semester and 5th Semester and teaching faculty, Thsingvi T. Sangtam, Phenmei B Phom, Kiriahungle Haihing, and Daphne Chungphang, participated in the extension service activities. The team contributed some essential groceries, along with cleaning up their surrounding area and necessary repairment works.
