A meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Commissioner & Secretary of H&FW, Anoop Khinchi, IAS on 26th September, 2025 at IDSP Conference Hall, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare with officers to review the implementation of Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (SNSPA) and related issues concerning Health Services. Commissioner & Secretary, H&FW, Dr. Mereninla Senlem, Principal Director co-chaired the meeting.
The meeting was intended to assess the quality of Health service delivery in regard to the ongoing health camps as part of the SNSPA which aims to enhance healthcare access in rural and tribal areas by deploying specialist medical services. Health facilities across Nagaland continue to host activities focussed on the wellbeing of women and children from screenings and awareness to counselling and community engagement.
In-depth review of reporting system was discussed and resolved to collaborate more between IT section and vertical program for ease of reporting which then can potentially be utilized for research and case study. It also emphasized on the importance of adequate and proper training of staffs and field monitoring from the state level so that proper guidance can be imposed for better health care delivery system.
