Along with the rest of the district, the Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima, Polan John (NCS), led a joint inspection along National Highway 29 up to the Chathe River Bridge during the district-wide mass social work held on November 12, 2025.

The mass social work was successfully conducted with the active participation of all government departments, the Chümoukedima Town Council, civil society organisations, and the general public. The collaborative effort reflected a strong sense of community spirit and civic responsibility aimed at maintaining cleanliness and improving the environment across the district.
