The evening session of the 2nd day of Mon Edition of International Hornbill Festival recorded with notes and beats from various bands performing from across the state at Konyak Heritage Complex, Mon on 9th December 2025.

In his speech, Special Guest of the show and President ENSF, Nuheymong Yimkhiung, appreciated the government’s efforts in bringing the International Hornbill Festival to the district, providing Mon to showcase the rich cultural heritage.

Citing example of the recently concluded Dr. T Ao Trophy lifted by Mon district and the crowd’s enthralling performance by Hentok Konyak he encouraged not only to be confined with bookish education but to explore other fields like music, sports and others. While appreciating the Konyak Union for extending invitation to ENSF, he conveyed his best wishes for the remaining day of the festival.

The performances of the bands and artists drew enthusiastic response from the audience, showcasing the talent and interest in music. Retroverse, the winners of the Music Mania 2.0, Mon Music Society, Alive Band and others gave a spectacular performance at the show.

Earlier during the tug of war competition, Techa and Shamnyu wards bagged the first and second position respectively in men's category, while Zalom and Wakem wards bagged first and second position in women's category.
