The District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on 15th January 2026, under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Longdiba L Sangtam at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Kiphire. The ADC welcomed the new members and those present in the meeting. He also extended warm New Year greetings to all the board members and reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting.
Following the review, SDO (Civil) Kiphire, Rozy Sangtam highlighted the work distribution for the upcoming Republic Day preparations on 26th January at Kiphire. Superintendent of Police, Kiphire, Chinise Chakasang extended special thanks to officers and staff of the District Administration, Medical Department and DPRO staff for the successful conduct of the recent Nagaland Police Constable Recruitment drive and rehearsals in the district. He noted that Republic Day Parade rehearsal will commence only after the written exam on 20th January 2026.
EAC Kiphire, Takatemjen Pongen reminded the departments that have not yet registered on SHE - BOX to complete it as soon as possible.
