The 77th Republic Day celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag at all Government offices and institutions in the morning at Pungro, Kiphire on 26th January 2026.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pungro, Neilezo Tep unfurled the National flag at the ADC’s Office, Pungro followed by a Rashtriya Salute by 'C' Coy, 8th NAP Bn. Pungro and National Anthem by the 25 Nagaland NCC Bn. GHSS, Pungro.
The program was compered by Asangla Angel Yimchunger and was attended by all the concerned departments, local representatives and students.
