The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at public ground Tamlu, Longleng on 26th January 2026, with Additional Deputy Commissioner of Tamul, Lankonsen Tsanglao as the Special Guest.
The special guest unfurled the national flag, delivered the Republic Day speech and took Rashtriya salute from the parade contingents of Christian School Tamlu and CHC staff Tamlu Town. The National Anthem was presented by the students of St. Thomas School Tamlu.
The special guest also inaugurated the exhibition stalls sat up by the Department and SHG of Tamlu
