The Bharat Ko Jano Yatra organised by the North East Zone Culture Centre, Dimapur, Ministry of Culture, Government of India in collaboration with Department of Art & Culture, Government of Nagaland on 28th January 2026 at Town hall Tseminyu with DC Tseminyu, Japheth Woch (NCS) as the guest of honour. The DC stated that Rengma has rich cultural heritage and encouraged the participants to uphold and promote the rich Culture for the younger generations.

Director-cum-Nodal Officer of NEZCC, Teisovikuolie Therie in his keynote address said that India has rich heritage to promote our national integration through cultural performance and share experience, strengthening the bond as Indians inspiring a sense of unity and pride among the youth. He asserted that to make Bharat Ko Jano Yatra a success, he exhorted the youths to be inspired and cherish the India diversity.

During the programme, the Kandi Cultural Troupe Tseminyu, Tseminyu Village Cultural Troupe (Men), Tseminyu Cultural Troupe (women), Tai Education Initiative, Mariani Jorhat Assam, Phenwhenyu & Guju Cultural Troupe and Kasha Daho Cultural Troupe showcased their cultural performance.

The program was chaired by Jolly Thyu and the welcome address was delivered by Senilo Kath, Asst. Research Officer, Art & Culture, while the vote of thanks was pronounced by Haichenlo Kath, District Cultural Officer Kohima.
