Under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau, Kohima (Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India), a 7-day media tour to south Bihar for journalists from Nagaland began on 16th March 2026. The team departed from Dimapur Airport and will return on 22 March 2026.
The tour aims to help local media observe the implementation of government schemes, cover key programmes of various ministries, interact with journalists from other regions, and understand the socio-economic and cultural aspects of different states.
The team includes representatives from the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and print and electronic media organisations, led by PIB officials from Kohima.
