A water testing training programme was conducted by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) at Government High School and Government Higher Secondary School, Tening on 8th April 2026, under the DPDB Peren adoption initiative.
The programme aimed at creating awareness among students and staff on the importance of safe drinking water and imparting practical knowledge on basic water testing methods. Officials from PHED demonstrated simple water testing techniques and highlighted the significance of maintaining water quality for health and hygiene.
The training forms part of the ongoing activities under DPDB adoption, focusing on capacity building and promoting community awareness on essential public health practices.
