The first phase of District Level Training for Census 2027 for Kiphire was conducted from 20th to 22nd April 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Deputy Commissioner, Temsuwati Longkumer, who warmly welcomed all the participants and urged the officers to discharge their assigned duties with diligence and sincerity to ensure the successful conduct of the Census 2027.
The training session were conducted by the Census Team from Kohima comprising - Viyovol Chaya, Assistant Director, Directorate of Census Operations, Nagaland, Kohima; Chuyalo Kath, Assistant Director, Dinesh Kumar Maurya, Statistical Investigator; and Lokesh Yadav, Statistical Investigator.
The training covered the operation of Census Management and Monitoring System (CMMS); detailed discussions on roles and responsibilities of the Principal Census Officer, District Census Officer, and Charge Officers; and various operational aspects of the Census including house listing population enumeration, and mapping, and other relevant Census manuals in detail.
The sessions were conducted effectively with active participation from officers and staff of the Deputy Commissioner's office as well as officers and staff from the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pungro and Seyochung Sub - Divisions.
The programme conducted with a reflection and valedictory session, marking the successful completion of the training.
