A tabletop exercise for the NEPEx statewide mega mock drill was conducted under the aegis of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Noklak, at the Superintendent of Police’s Conference Hall on 29th April 2026.
DC & Chairman, DDMA Noklak, P. Mono Khiamniungan, briefed on the NEPEx statewide mega mock exercise and the Incident Response System (IRS). He elaborated on the roles and responsibilities during the exercise, emphasizing coordinated response mechanisms in disaster situations.
ADC & CEO, DDMA Noklak, Relise Sangtam, emphasized on the mock drill scenario and the logistical arrangements for the exercise. The session aimed to prepare all participating departments for effective implementation during the actual drill.
DPA, DDMA Noklak, Tanghiu, conducted group briefings and explained the required forms to be used during the exercise, ensuring clarity in documentation and reporting procedures.
OC Noklak (Wireless), Sulem, demonstrated the use of wireless communication sets, highlighting their importance in maintaining effective communication during emergencies.
