The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Civil Defence Nagaland conducted Air Raid Simulation with Rescue Exercise at DC’s office, Zunheboto under NEPEx 2026

As part of the ongoing NEPEx 2026 mock exercise, a simulated fire incident was staged at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Zunheboto to assess emergency response and coordination among agencies.

During the exercise, a total of 15 individuals were reported injured, including two who were critically injured. All casualties, reported as male participants in the simulation, were promptly evacuated by personnel from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Civil Defence Nagaland.

The mock drill demonstrated swift action and effective coordination between SDRF and Civil Defence teams in handling emergency rescue and evacuation operations. The exercise aimed to enhance preparedness and response capabilities in the event of real-life disaster situations.
