World Environment Day 23026 was celebrated with fervor at Town Hall, Aboi on 5th June 2026 with the theme: ‘Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future’.
The celebration was jointly organised by District Administration, Forest Department, Agriculture Department, KU, KNSK, AASU & ATSU.
During the programme, ADC Aboi, M.S. Thangpong, NCS, spoke on the significance of the celebration, while President, KNSK, Aboi Unit, Lamlen delivered the keynote address.
After the formal programme, a plantation drive was carried out.
