The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukedima, has requisitioned the Class-V room of Government Middle School (GMS), Chumoukedima, for use as a polling station in connection with the forthcoming by-election to Ward No. 11 of the Chümoukedima Town Council.
According to an order issued, the requisition was made following a communication from the State Election Commission, Nagaland, regarding the conduct of the by-election scheduled to be held on June 16, 2026.
The order stated that the Class-V room of GMS Chumoukedima will be utilized as a polling station and for all election-related activities on the day of polling.
The Head Teacher of Government Middle School, Chumoukedima, has been directed to make the room available and extend all necessary cooperation to ensure the smooth conduct of the election process.
