A one-day training programme for Booth Level Officer (BLO) and Supervisors on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls 2026 for 20 Meluri Assembly Constituency was held on 21st July 2026 at the DB's Court, Deputy Commissioner's Office, Meluri.  

Deputy Commissioner, Meluri, Phuleshe K. Yepthomi, in his address, said that the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) may encounter many challenges and face considerable pressure during the conduct of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). He, however, urged them to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, dedication, and impartiality.

He also emphasized that BLOs must be well acquainted with the people in their assigned areas and carefully verify the identity and eligibility of every elector for inclusion in the electoral roll. He also stressed the importance of ensuring that every person enrolled genuinely exists and is eligible to be registered.

Appealing to all BLOs to carry out the exercise with utmost sincerity, he said that the electoral roll should be free from errors, adding that "Clean Electoral Roll and Clean Elections" should be the guiding motto of the exercise.

EAC & AERO Meluri, Pipfusa Pojar, delivered an overview of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), highlighting 1st October 2026 as the qualifying date for the revision of the electoral rolls.

Amo Thurr, Trainer of Trainers (ToT), EBRC, Meluri, and Master Trainer for BLOs delivered a session on the roles and responsibilities of BLOs, Supervisors and Booth Level Officers (BLOs), including the use of the BLO App.

The training concluded with an interactive discussion and doubt-clearing session, during which participants' queries were addressed.
