The 80th Indian Independence Day was celebrated at ADC’s Office Premises, Tizit, Mon on 15th August 2026. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tizit, C. Phuniang, hoisted the National Flag and took the Rashtriya Salute.

The highlights of the celebration included Independence Day speech by ADC, Tizit, National Anthem by Wangnao Yato, Patriotic item by Mendan Konyak and sweet distribution by Functional Manager, Industries, Tizit.

The day was also marked by hoisting of National Flag in all government Offices, Educational and Private Institutions.
