The Draft Electoral Roll for Tseminyu District was officially publication on 20th September 2026 at ADC & ERO Chamber Tseminyu, as a part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026, in accordance with the direction of the election commission of India.
The upcoming publication follows the successful completion of the house-to-house enumeration and digitization phase of the revision process. The Draft Electoral Roll comprises a total of 23104 electors including 11123 Male electors and 11976 female electors. The district also has 136 service Voters and a total of 47th Polling Stations has been notified for the district.
The SIR for the district successfully reached 100% (percent) coverage of all Enumeration Forms. Out of 24246 total forms processed through digitization and system uploads.23104 forms were successfully verified for the update database.
The remaining 1142 cases were categorised as Uncollectible Enumeration Forms: Dead-442; Permanent Shifting-395; Already Enrolled Elsewhere-54; Absent-238; Others- 13.
The Claims and Objections period commence from 20th September 2026 and will continue until 18th November 2026.During this period eligible citizens may submit application for:
Inclusion of eligible electors: Correction of Entries in the Electoral Roll; Deletion of ineligible electors and shifting of electors within constituency.
Application may be submitted through the concerned Booth Level Officer or directly at the office of the Electoral Registration Officer concerned.
To uphold transparency and facilitate participatory verification, the Booth Level Officers have shared the details of elector’s report as deceased, permanently shifted, untraceable or those whose Enumeration Forms have not been received with the Booth Level Agents of recognized political parties.
The District Election Office conveys its sincere gratitude to all recognized political parties and others stakeholders for their active cooperation during the SIR. It looks forward to their continued support during the Claims and Objections period to ensure the inclusion of every eligible elector and the removal of every ineligible entry as per the law.
The district election also placed on record its sincere appreciation for the tireless efforts of the entire election machinery, including ERO, AERO, BLOs, Data Entry Operators, BLAs who contributed to the successful completion of the enumeration, digitization and publications of the Draft Electoral Roll. Their dedication and coordinate efforts have ensured a transparent, inclusive and credible revision process.
The District Election Officer, Tseminyu appeals to all eligible electors to carefully verify their particulars in the Draft Electoral Roll and to avail the opportunity to file Claims and Objections wherever necessary within the prescribed period ending on 20th October 2026.The cooperation of citizens recognized political parties and all stakeholders during the Claims and Objections period will be vital in ensuring that the Final Electoral Roll is accurate, comprehensive and error - Free thereby strengthening the democratic process.
