The draft publication of the Photo Electoral Rolls in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 was held at the DC Conference Hall, Longleng, on September 20th 2026.

Additional Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Longleng, Thungchanbemo Tungoe, NCS, formally handed over copies of the draft electoral rolls to representatives of political parties.

Addressing the gathering, the ERO urged political parties to actively participate in the revision process through their Booth Level Agents (BLAs) at the booth level. He stressed the importance of active participation to ensure a smooth and effective revision of the electoral rolls.

Assistant Electoral Officer (AEO), Longleng, Nathan Konyak, also appealed to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to carry out their duties sincerely and diligently so that the revision work is completed within the timeline prescribed by the Election Commission of India.

The officials emphasized the importance of cooperation among all stakeholders in ensuring an accurate and updated electoral roll.

The political parties, BLO Supervisors, and BLOs were attendance in the programme.
