The full text is as follows:

 

“A total of ­63 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 18 in Kohima, 36 in Dimapur, 8 in Mon and 1 in Tuensang. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 8,726.

Out of the 8,726 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 6,755. The active cases are 1,860 and there have been 27 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 1,764 active cases are asymptomatic, 70 active cases are mild, 16 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 4 active cases are severe on oxygen, 3 active cases are critical with oxygen and 3 active cases are on ventilator.

Further, out of 8,726 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,815 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,636 cases of Returnees, 2,847 cases of Traced Contacts and 428 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 60,573 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 59,375 samples have been received. In addition, a total 32,943 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 32,894 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 3,699 samples have been tested.
