The full text is as follows:

 

“A total of ­51 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 16 in Kohima, 32 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung and 1 in Tuensang. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 8,945.

Out of the 8,945 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 7,229. The active cases are 1,596 and there have been 33 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 1,518 active cases are asymptomatic, 57 active cases are mild, 16 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 3 active case is severe on oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilator.

Further, out of 8,945 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,878 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,653 cases of Returnees, 2,978 cases of Traced Contacts and 436 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 61,607 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 60,439 samples have been received. In addition, a total 33,448 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 33,404 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 3,876 samples have been tested.”
