Polling personnel moved out for their Bye Election duty to 60 Pungro Kiphire A/C. Due to the bad condition of the road in some villages, some of the polling party moved out yesterday since they have to walk on foot. Five women teams were also sent as polling personnel to their respective assigned villages.

Altogether, there are 77 polling stations with twenty nine thousand and five hundred voters under the 60 Pungro Kiphire A/C. Altogether there are five candidates in the fray namely, Lirimong Sangtam from BJP, K.Shellumthong from Independent, T.Yangseo Sangtam from Independent, Kiusumew Yimchunger from Independent and Khaseo Anar from Congress party.
