The District Level Centre for Women- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Kohima held its quarterly district level task force meeting at the Office Chamber of the Deputy Commissioner on 9th February, chaired by DC of Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie Sote, who is the chairperson of the district level task force, DLCW-MSK. Abeinuo Jasmine Ashao was appointed as the nodal officer for the MSK and BBBP scheme and urged the team to come up with an action plan for a realistic outcome.
Supervisor, NWWSB, R. Juliana Medom, gave an introduction to the overall implementation of the scheme and also gave a brief explanation on the budget status of the scheme. Neipechau Mepfhuo, Women Welfare Officer, MSK gave a presentation on the activities of the DLCW, Kohima. Kesoneinuo Kense, District Coordinator, MSK presented the district action plan while Vikeduozo Sorhie, District Coordinator, MSK presented on the activities carried out by the DLCW-MSK, Kohima during the pandemic times.
The meeting was attended by ADC (Kohima), SDO (C), EAC (Kohima), representatives from State Resource Centre for Women, Social Welfare Department and Department of Labour.
