Seeds distribution under 'Fostering Climate Resilient Upland Farming System in the NorthEast - (FOCUS) Nagaland, an externally aided project funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) was conducted at Longleng.

            S. Yongchang Phom, DAO and DPM of FOCUS: IFAD, Longleng, encouraged the farmer to be more self-reliant in the food sector. He also emphasized them on seed preservation for the next season and to do crop cutting experiment to assess yield and crop productivity.

            The farmers expressed their gratitude to the project for supporting them with good quality Kharif and Rabi seeds as per their needs based since the inception of the project.
