In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, ADC Aboi, Chumlamo Humstoe, NCS, on 29th May 2021 ordered the sealing of the following houses at Aboi Town:
- House No.95, Hahnyan Ward.
- House No. 757, Mahi Drug House, Aboiyang Ward
- Aboi Pharmacy, Koiwang Ward
- House No. 276, Koiwang Ward
- House No. 134, Koiwang Ward
- House at Aboiyang Ward, Boundaries:
a) North: Aboi to Mon Road
b) East: Footstep
c) West: Footstep
d) South: Residence of Ashu
The houses are to remain sealed till further orders.
In another order, ADC Aboi, ordered the sealing of Aboi Mandir located at Koiwang Ward, Aboi Town till further orders.
Any person violating the containment measures would be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other legal provisions as applicable.
