Keeping in view the larger interest of the research scholars, UGC has further extended the tenure of following UGC sponsored fellowships which were expired/ expiring during Corona Pandemic period upto 31.12.2021. The Universities may allow the fellows to complete their project during the extended period.

The tenure of fellowship would remain same and no fellowship would be provided for the extended period. The name of the schemes include Dr. D.S. Kothari Post-Doctoral Fellowship; Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Post-Doctoral Fellowship; Post-Doctoral Fellowship for Women; Post-Doctoral Fellowship for SC/ ST; BSR Fellowship (ongoing cases); BSR Faculty Fellowship; Emeritus Fellowship.
