The 1st Inter-departmental Badminton Tournament is set to begin from 22nd October 2021, 3:00 PM at the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Multi-purpose Hall, Kohima. Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Neiba Kronu will be the special guest for the inaugural programme. 
Convener, IDBC, Shanavas C, IAS will give the introduction and welcome address which will be followed by acknowledgement. The special guest will deliver his speech after which T Imtisungit Ao will introduce the teams. It will be followed by declaration of tournament. The programme will be chaired by Kekhriesetuo Ziephru.
The tournament is being organised by the Inter Department Badminton Club, Kohima.
