Reviewing of all the missions undertaken by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs was held with the Joint Secretary (C & NE), Pankaj Kumar and Director (NER & MC), G.Ravinder at Hotel Vivor, Kohima on 30th of October 2021.

Principal Secretary, Urban Affairs & Municipal Affairs, Himato Zhimomi stated that the effort of the department came to a standstill due to the Covid-19 pandemic but momentum is slowly picking up now. Zhimomi stated that the visit by the officials is a very important way forward and added that an interactive session with different officials will be the main feature.

PowerPoint presentations by the state officials on the progress of the missions undertaken and the reports of the new  and ongoing projects/areas schemes were highlighted for the integrated development of the North Eastern region, followed by the field visit of the ongoing projects. The team will be visiting Wokha and the Doyang hydroelectric project on 31st October.
