The Hornbill Festival extension of Traditional Evening Park with the theme 'Local Friendly' was inaugurated by the Chairman, Nagaland Khadi and Village Industries Board Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu as special guest at Kigwema Local Ground on 1st Dec 2021. The program was organised by the Kigwema Youth Organization in collaboration with the Tourism Department, Government of Nagaland with the motive to help the self-help group to show-case their talent. 

Speaking at the program Dr. Keditsu said that Nagaland has been competing with the world as a tourist destination and a tourism hotspot and Nagaland has many tourist potential. The function was also attended by Medo Yhokha advisor for Technical Education, Election & Chairman DPDB, Kohima; Kigwema Village Council, Kigwema Women Organization, Kigwema Students Union and Kigwema Gazetted Officers Krotho.
