The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland has informed that the Election Commission of India on the occasion of the National Voter's Day, 2022 has launched a National Voter Awareness Contest with the theme 'My Vote is my Future - Power of One Vote'. It may be mentioned that Commission has reiterated the importance of every vote through creative expression. The contest is a part of Election Commission of India's Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation Programme to tap the talent and creativity of the people so as to strengthen democracy through their participation.

The National Voters Awareness Contest shall have five categories of contest viz: a) Quiz Contest, b) Slogan Contest, c) Song Contest, d) Video Making Contest, e) Poster Design Contest and it is open to all age group.
