Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland issued the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for the 21th of April, 2020. According to the report, 4 violations of the lockdown were reported and subsequently, 4 people were bound down. No law and order incidents have been reported in the State.

            The report informed that shops for food grains and groceries were opened in all the districts except in Wokha, where it will open the following day. Medicinal shops remain opened in all the districts. There has been no report of shortage of food and other essentials in any part of the State.

On essential services, manufacturing, distribution & e-commerce, no restriction was imposed on the movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers like electricity, telecommunication, fuels etc. There are 4 (Four) active relief camps where 431 (Four Hundred and Thirty One) migrant labourers are housed. There are also 5 (Five) active food camps. Also, more than 3800 (Three Thousand Eight Hundred) daily wagers and needy people were provided food/dry ration.
