The District Planning and Development Board, Kiphire meeting was conducted under the Chairmanship of DC & Vice Chairman DPDB, T.Wati Aier on 10th March at DC's Conference Hall, Kiphire.

The members welcomed new officers of Pungro ADC, Mhomo and DPMC Kiphire, Koroto Lotha.

The board members discussed the proposal for the construction of a Tourism Watch Tower at Hakkomute Village, which is situated in one of the remotest parts of the state, the agenda was approved and recommended for further action. The board members also discussed the same proposal to NITI AAYOG in the Aspirational district. The proposal for the construction of a concrete wall and gate at the helipad at Kiphire was discussed and recommended to the higher authority of the transport department for further action.

The agenda for registration of Grassroot Empowerment Society was discussed and agreed to recommend to the higher authority for necessary action. The board members also discussed the nomination of Tikhir Tribe representative/member in the DPDB and agreed for induction. The members also discussed and agreed to welcome Tikhir Tribal Council in the DPDB meeting. PowerPoint presentations were given by the Cooperation department and Employment department. The Chairman asked the department of Education and KVK to give a PowerPoint presentation at the next DPDB meeting.
