Aboi Town Baptist Church celebrated World Environment Day under the theme 'Only One World' with ADC, Aboi on 5th June 2022.

On the world environment day celebration ADC, Chumlamo Humstoe, NCS, exhorted the gathering on the proper use of plastic as well as its hazards to the environment. He elaborated that the burning of plastics leads to air pollution and prohibited the throwing of waste in open spaces. He further urged the public to maintain the directives from the government as these are all efforts for a sustainable Earth.

For public information, he advised the public to follow and co-operate with the taxes and revenues system laid by the Government as all these measures are for the benefit of the citizens.

Aboi town Baptist Church organized the world environment day which coincided with the usual Sunday service. ADC, Aboi, expressed gratitude to the churches, especially the women's organizations, students organizations, leaders, and frontline organizations for their active support and cooperation during his tenure in the sub-division.
