\Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS held a meeting of all Heads of Offices in Wokha district on 6th August 2022 at the DC’s Conference Hall to discuss matters pertaining to “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. 

During the meeting, the DC urged all government employees, offices and educational institutions to compulsorily hoist the National Flag from 13th to 15th August 2022 at their private residence/quarters and offices.

ADC, Wokha, K.Furhesie Nyuwi who chaired the meeting, informed that “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign is organised under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the National Flag home and to hoist it, to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. He also informed all Heads of Offices in the district to place the demand of the Flag as per the number of employees in their respective departments at the rate of Rs. 20 by the 8th of August from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner. He further informed to download/install the “Har Ghar Tiranga” App/Link to share a selfie/photo along with the Flag at the hoisting site.

The DC also requested the schools and colleges to conduct morning rally and asked them to upload the picture of the activities conducted at the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign App/Link.
