The monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting of the Noklak district was held on 18th April 2022 at DC’s Conference Hall, Noklak under the Chairmanship of L. Khumo DPDB chairman, Noklak and Advisor, Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Evaluation, Economics & Statistics.
Khumo urged all the members to be regular in DPDB meetings and requested all members of different departments to share their views. He requested all the members to have a constructive debate.
Vice-Chairman DPDB and DC Noklak Hiazu Meru briefed the house on the meeting held with NITI Ayog on the sustainable development goal of the district. Accordingly, he asked the concerned department to submit the various data on time. DC urged all the members to be serious in the DPDB meeting and requested all the departmental officials to work hard as a team for the upliftment of the district.
During the meeting, the house approved and recommended for recognition of Hanyuk village, the construction of staff quarters and security fencing of the health unit under the Noklak district, and the NST bus Service from Noklak to Thonoknyu via Nokhu.
On the human resources of the district, the house discussed the urgent establishment of a college at Noklak where at present there is no College in the district where there is an urgent need for the establishment of college which was approved and recommended by the concerned departments.
