The counting of votes for the Ward No. 11 (Chaara) by-election under the Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC) was conducted at the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Chümoukedima, on June 19, 2026.

NPF candidate Neichuu Kuotsu emerged victorious by securing 326 votes, defeating BJP candidate Kezhangutuo Zhotso, who secured 236 votes. Neichuu Kuotsu won the election with a margin of 90 votes.

The counting process was carried out peacefully under the supervision of election officials in the presence of observer, RO, ARO and representatives of the contesting candidates and counting agents from respective parties.

With the declaration of the results, Neichuu Kuotsu will take charge as the elected Councillor of Ward No. 11, Chümoukedima Town Council. The district administration and election authorities appreciated the cooperation extended by all stakeholders, political parties, and voters in ensuring the successful conduct of the by-election.
