A One Day Awareness Program for Grass-root Level Workers on Disability Issues organised by Care and Support Society and Supported by RCI -North East Zonal Coordination Committee (NEZCC) was held at Sangtemla Multipurpose Hall on 26th March, 2021. The program was chaired by Takotila. Welcome note was delivered by Arenli Jamir, Project Co-ordinator, DDPO Mokokchung.

            Short speeches were given by ADC, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung, Vishal IPS, DEO, Mokokchung, Limasangba Aier, and Rev.C Wati Longchar, Property and Finance Secretary, ABAM where grassroot level workers were encouraged to give special attention to the differently abled for self-empowerment.

            The first session concluded with vote of thanks from Sapo Aier, Asst Director, C&SS.   During the Sensitization program for grassroot Level Workers, Dr. Imli Lemtur, MD (Paediatrician) IMDH and Arenli Jamir, Project Co-ordinator, DDPO Mokokchung spoke on the topic Early Identification and Intervention Schemes and benefits and RPD Act 2016 respectively.
