District Administration & Mahila Shakti Kendra in collaboration with Phom Students Conference conducted a one-day seminar on career guidance for school students on 26th February 2022 at LTBC, Longleng. The resource persons were Gimchuile, Lolisangla & Vikhotono, who are pursuing M.sc in Psychology & Counseling at Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong. 

A welcome address was delivered by President Phom Students’ Conference, N. Dape Phom. He appreciated the District Administration, MSK-DLCW Longleng for organizing the programme adding that it is refreshing knowledge for the students. In his short speech, SDO(C) & Nodal Officer BBBP Longleng, Trongdiba T. Sangtam shared his testimony where he spoke of the failures & successes he faced. He stated, “Success can never be static or one spot destination and that it has to be continuous struggle & hard work”. 

Resource person, Gimchuile spoke on the topic, “What is Career? & the difference between Career and Job” while Vikhotono shared on “Aptitude & Interest”, “Career Developmental stages & Lack of Career success”. Lolisangla spoke on “Career information & Importance of Career Information”. 

The programme was chaired by VP PSC, Enyu Phom while a vote of thanks was proposed by District coordinator MSK-DLCW Longleng, Tutinungla Phom.
