A programme on distribution of organic products from Lakhuti village for Covid-19 Quarantine Centres Kohima under the theme ‘We Care…Stay Safe’ was held at the NBCC Convention Centre Kohima on 4th June 2020. The products consisted of horticultural organic vegetables, fruits and Doyang fishes harvested in their village.

            The team comprised of nine members was led by Village Council Chairman, Lakhuti village, Mhonthung Yanthan and Village Development Board (VDB) Secretary, Lakhuti village, Thechamo Ngullie. The Village Council Chairman, Lakhuti village, Mhonthung Yanthan said that the farmers and the people of Lakhuti village wanted to reach out to the people staying in the quarantine centres in Kohima and as a token of help to them, they have contributed their harvest to be distributed to these centres.
