Parade contingents:

On the occasion of 75th Indian Independence Day, held at the Nagaland Secretariat Plaza, Kohima 11(eleven) Parade Contingents participated under the Parade Commander, NikhoVenuh, NPS, Deputy Commandant, 10th NPS (IR) and Second-in-Command MedemkalaTzudir, NPS Assistant Commandant 15th NAP (IR) Mahila Battalion took part. The participating Parade Contingents were 1 Assam Rifles Bn; 78th CRPF Bn; 37th BSF; DEF Kohima; 4th NAP Bn; 10th NAP (IR) Bn; 15th NAP(IR) MahilaBn; Special Task Force;  Home Guards & Civil Defence; Nagaland Police Central Brass Band; PTS and 14th Assam Rifles Pipe Band. 

Entertainment & cultural presentations:

During the cultural presentation and entertainment event the Divine Connection band sang 'VandeMataram'; 'Ode to My Motherland' which was specially composed by AtsoChasie for  the  occasion of celebrating 75th Independence Day  was performed by AtsoChasie and team; T. Yepthomi sang 'Teri Mitti' while her team performed a dance display. 

Five Cultural Troupes participated during the 75th Indian Independence Day, 2021 at Nagaland Civil Secretariat plaza, Kohima. 

              Old Shena Cultural club Kohima (Sumi) presented a Sumi warrior dance which is known as Aphilo, the dance is performed by the brave and strong male folk signifying victory over enemies. Pochury Cultural Club Kohima (Pochury) performed   Shoji so..o which is a folk dance of victory over evil, they also sang  ‘Tsethomaria’  and Ma ehnyo - hei - ia.Zhavame Union Kohima (Chakhesang) cultural troupe performed ZUK which is a song of praise while AongReju Club Organization Kohima, (Ao) performed the Hornbill dance. Jakhama Youth Cultural club (Angami) presented a folk song dance called MeloPhita.
