Department of Social Welfare Mon, on 1st November 2021 organised a launching programme of verification cum disbursement of pension under various schemes such as NSAP, Blind, Disabled Scholarship at Longwa Village, Mon. 
District Welfare Officer Mon, Y. Tauhong Ngonyen encouraged the beneficiaries to open bank accounts and IPPB account in post office for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). He also appealed the civil societies to extend support to the Department in the verification process like UDID. 
The program was chaired by Chairman, Longwa Village Council, Noklem Konyak.
