The monthly Peren District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on 6th October 2022 at DC's Conference Hall, Peren under the chairmanship of ADC Peren, Keyirangding Hegui.

Chairing the meeting, ADC informed the members that the celebration programme of the 75th Anniversary of Peren Township which is scheduled to be held on 11th & 12th October 2022 has been deferred and the new date shall be intimated later. Further, he requested the board members to take note of the changes and extend their cooperation positively.

In the meeting, the board agreed to forward the application for registration of 'Pink Blossoms Society', Samzuiram Village which has been involved in providing support to destitute people particularly to girl children & women by giving vocational training, education, job placement, etc.

The meeting also approved the proposal for setting up ATM Booths in Jalukie town and District Headquarters, Peren.

As entrusted, the Department of Soil & Water Conservation and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science also gave PowerPoint presentations of their departmental activities.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair.
