The monthly Peren District Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of April was held on 6th April, 2021 under the chairmanship of DC Peren-cum-DPDB Vice-chairman, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS at DC's Conference Hall, Peren.

            Regarding upgradation of Govt. High School at Ahthibung, the board members agreed to approve and recommend to the higher ups for further follow up action. Other agenda discussed in the meeting included constitution of District Level Aspirational Blocks Committee and ban on plying of log/heavy vehicles.

            DEO (Evaluation) Peren, Erangnimbe Thou gave a thorough and a detailed presentation about the status and activities of the Department in the District. Nagaland State Biodiversity Board Chairman in his PowerPoint presentation highlighted on the importance, role, structure of the State Biodiversity Board and also the roles of Biodiversity Management Board at the village level.
