Mission Director (NHM) Nagaland, Dr.Talitemsula inaugurated Primary Health Centre at Dan, ITC under Noklak district on 26th October 2021.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Talitemsula stated that, the Primary Health Centre, Dan ITC will serve and benefit the bordering villages of India and Myanmar. She said that for proper development and improvement of the PHC, people’s participation is very important and urged upon the gathering to use the PHC judiciously, and sought the co-operation from the community towards the health care workers and the department. She said that the support and participation of the community for proper development will make the PHC a great impetus to the people and department as well and added that the department is willing to do all possible ways to develop and improve the PHC.
Additional Director, H&FW, Dr. Temjentsungla urged upon the people to use the PHC in a proper way and hoped it will serve its proposed. She advised upon the Health Management Commitee to include more women in the committee.
Extra Assistant Commissioner, Noklak, Pukha Lam in his speech advised the gathering to take ownership of the PHC and expressed his appreciation to the Medical department for the successful completion of the PHC. This PHC will serve beyond boundaries, he added.
Head GB of Dan Village, Nyukha spoke during the occasion while dedicatory prayer of the PHC was done by Pastor Taimang. The programme was chaired by Executive member, Pangsha Public organization (PPO), Shingnya and welcome address was delivered by Vice President PPO, Haiming. Dr. Victor NC, SMO CHC Noklak proposed the vote of thanks.
Mission Director along with the team also visited District Hospital, Noklak and had interactions with the district administration, NGOs and medical staffs. Dr.Talitemsula also visited the proposed hospital construction site.
