PHEK DPDB MEETING HELD

The monthly meeting of District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for Phek District was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB, Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS on 17th March 2023 at DC’s Conference Hall, Phek.

The Deputy Commissioner acknowledged the members and their staff for their cooperation during the recently concluded 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly election. He also informed the members on the forthcoming election of the Urban Local Bodies.

The house also discussed the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), in which the Chairman encouraged the members for necessary action to ensure 100% registration of employees at the earliest.

Ramnikant also informed on the scheduled meeting of the District Development Co-ordination & Monitoring Committee to be held under the Chairmanship of Member of Parliament (LS), Tokheho Yepthomi on 11th April 2023 at 10:00 AM at DC’s Conference Hall, Phek. In regard to that, he reminded the Department of Food & Civil Supplies, Road & Bridges, National Highways, Social Welfare, Power, Agriculture, H&FW, Education, PHED and RD to give detailed presentations at the meeting.

The Department of Evaluation and Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection presented the departmental activities during the meeting in which responsibilities and functions were highlighted. The Department of School Education has been entrusted to present in the next DPDB meeting.
