PLANNING & COORDINATION DEPT. BIDS FAREWELL TO ADDL. DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER

The Department of Planning and Co-ordination held the farewell programme in honour of outgoing Additional Development Commissioner, Nosazol Charles, on 31st July at the Conference Hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima.

Various speakers congratulated the outgoing officer on the completion of a successful career and thanked him for his service to the Government of Nagaland. The department highlighted his instrumental role in the successful confirmation of the departmental Service Rule and for setting up of the Sustainable Development Goals Coordination Centre (SDGCC) besides other notable achievements.

In his speech, Nosazol Charles thanked the Minister of Planning and Co-ordination, Neiba Kronu, the Administrative Heads and Heads of the various state departments for their co-operation and support during his tenure. He also mentioned that his career achievements were made possible because of the hard work carried out by the department staff.

The programme was chaired by Joint Development Commissioner, Augustine M Yanthan, who also delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by Minister, Planning & Co-ordination, Land Revenue & Parl. Affairs, Neiba Kronu, senior officers and staff of the Planning & Co-ordination Department.

Joint Development Commissioner, Akyuba Sangtam will be the next incumbent to Head the department.
