Niuland District Administration along with the Agri & allied sector organised launching program of PM DHAN-DHANYA KRISHI YOJANA (PM DDKY) & MISSION AATMANIRBHARTA IN PULSES on 11th Oct 2025 at DC's Conference Hall, Niuland.

DC Niuland, Sara S Jamir, while delivering her short speech stated that the launching of PM- DDKY is mainly for the Agri and allied sector, and the program is to enhance agriculture productivity and improve infrastructure of the farmers in the country.

DC also said, once the project is launched the district administration and all the concerned officers in the district will thoroughly deliberate on how to  implement the various schemes, and urged the officers present to sensitise the schemes to the citizens of the district.

Niuland District being the largest in area & forest coverage under Agri and allied sector in the state, would immensely benifit the farmers of the district.

In his keynote address, District Agriculture Officer Niuland, Thepusa Nakro,  ihighlighted the aims and objectives of the PM-DDKH.

The program also witnessed the Live webcast of Prime Minister awarding agriculture projects to the farmers.

The program was chaired by Dr, Arenjungla, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer, while Ditolyn Sumi, Agri. Officer delivered the vote of thanks.
