Along with the rest of the nation, Zunheboto district also participated in the Hon'ble Prime Minister's nationwide interaction with beneficiaries of government schemes and programmes on 31st May 2022 at Town Hall Zunheboto.

Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali IAS welcomed all the beneficiaries, civil societies, and Heads of Offices and said that the programme was held for the first time in the country and that it is being held to implement the schemes more efficiently.

Altogether more than 400 people participated in the programme and there were about 260 beneficiaries of 13 centrally sponsored schemes.

Live telecast of the Chief Minister of Nagaland's interaction with beneficiaries at the capital Kohima was also screened during the programme. Later the live address of the Prime Minister at Garib Kalyan Sammelan at Shimla was also screened.
